I blog for several reasons. One is to get my thoughts out; another is to let people know what I'm up to, as it's easier than e-mail. And a third reason is for fun, I just like doing it.

When you get up-to-the minute information - you feel more attached to what's happening. Blogs have fresh news, they include you in the latest trends and it's a great place to connect with people who have the same interests.

It's a conversation without pressure; you can compose and think at the same time without the need for an immediate response. Also the process of writing on specific subjects is a good exercise for everyone. Ahem. Everyone!

I blog because it is exactly what Tami said - conversation without pressure. I described it last week as IMing without a response. Very casual and you feel like someone is listening except there is no judgement on the other end of the line. Just a bunch of other people talking about the same things. Plus I think it is also one of those fun ways to ask great questions that make people learn more about themselves.

I like to live vicariously through the stories of other people.
